How much does it cost to vectorize an image, and what can you do for free?

With Homotope, tracing an image and downloading the SVG or PNG costs nothing, with no account and no limit, except transparent background and recolouring (Pro); only those two features, production exports beyond the 2 free a month with an account, server processing and the API are paid for, at the prices on the Pricing page.

Free, counted, paid

Production exports (DXF, EPS, PDF, separations): 2 free per month with an account, unlimited with Pro; without Pro, 1 credit each beyond those 2. Prices are on the Pricing page.

The trial, server processing and the API

When you create an account, production exports are unlimited for 7 days, once per Google identity, with no charge; it is not a Pro trial. Server processing, offered for very large images, gives 2 free tries a month with an account, then uses the Pro quota or credits. The API and MCP server are always paid: see vectorizing by API or AI agent.

No, they are free and unlimited with no account, except in Single stroke, where each download is a production export, and except transparent background and recolouring (Pro).

What happens if I go back to the free plan?

Nothing is deleted: above the free storage quota, the gallery becomes read-only.

No, the trial starts when you create the account, with no charge, once per Google identity.
