PNG, JPG, WebP → SVG vectorization

Your images as sharp SVGs, in seconds, without uploading a thing.

Logos, illustrations and sketches become clean flat colours, Bézier curves or a single stroke, computed in your browser. Free to try: no account, no upload.

The image stays in your browser and opens in the workshop. Try it with an example

Logo taken from the web, as a compressed JPEG: navy ring, turquoise disc, yellow star and orange band. The same logo vectorized to SVG by Homotope: clean flat colours, without the JPEG artefacts.
A JPEG logo taken from the web (left) and the SVG Homotope makes from it (right): drag the slider, hover over the image or keep your finger on it for the ×6 magnifier.

Before, after

Three images like the ones people send you: a compressed logo, an illustration, a scanned sketch. On the right, the SVG our engine makes from them, untouched; the caption gives the settings to get the same result in the workshop.

Emblem taken from the web, as a compressed JPEG: navy ring, turquoise disc, yellow star and orange band. JPG · 400 × 400 px
The same emblem vectorized to SVG: five clean flat colours, without the JPEG artefacts. SVG
Logo taken from the web — Logo preset alone; 5 colours, 1.8 KB SVG, untouched: the JPEG blocks and halo are gone, the ring stays a circle, the star keeps its straight edges.
PNG illustration of a potted plant: green leaves and a terracotta pot shaded in two tones, dark brown outline, yellow sun. PNG · 600 × 600 px
The same illustration vectorized to SVG, each area a single colour. SVG
Illustration — Illustration preset, Number of colours: 10, 5.7 KB SVG, untouched: the ten colours of the drawing, none invented.
Felt-tip sketch of an architect’s lamp, scanned: shaky lines on grainy grey paper. JPG · 700 × 700 px
The same sketch as a single-stroke trace: one line per pass, on a transparent background. SVG
Scanned sketch for cutting — Single stroke preset, Corner angle: 80°, 3.1 KB SVG, untouched: a single line, the paper is gone. Ready for a laser or plotter, as a DXF export (production export: free account, 2 a month).

What Homotope changes

  • Computed in your browser

The engine runs on your computer. Nothing leaves it until you save to your account or ask for a server job.

  • Seven presets

Logo, Illustration, Pixel art, Line art, Single stroke (laser, plotter, embroidery), Black and white (stencils, vinyl), Photo / Poster. Then every setting by hand: colours, palette, regions, curves.

  • Clean topology

Every border is shared by exactly two shapes: no gaps between flat colours, no stray holes, even when enlarged.

  • Full resolution

The image is vectorized at its actual size, up to 80 MB per file. It is only scaled down if you ask for it.

  • Server processing on demand

For very large images your device cannot handle. Started only when you ask for it, never automatically.

  • API and MCP

An HTTP API with keys and an MCP server: your scripts and AI agents vectorize without going through the interface (PNG or JPEG through the API).

Who it is for

Graphic designers

A client’s logo received as a PNG becomes an editable file again in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape, with a palette you control.

Cutting and embroidery

In cut-out mode, shapes do not overlap: each colour is a closed piece, ready for the plotter, vinyl or embroidery software.

Printing

An SVG scales up without blur, from business card to banner. You can also export a PNG at the size you need.

Developers

Lightweight SVGs for the web, and the API to vectorize in bulk from your tools or agents.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images sent anywhere?

No, not by default. Vectorizing happens in your browser. An image only goes to the server if you click “Save” (your account’s gallery) or start a server job. Details on the Privacy page.

Which formats are supported?

Input: PNG, JPG and WebP, up to 80 MB. Output: SVG, and PNG at the size of your choice; with an account, production exports as DXF, EPS, PDF and separations. You can also paste an image from the clipboard.

What is free and what is paid?

Vectorize for free, no account needed: vectorizing, preview, SVG and PNG exports, with no limit. Production exports (DXF, EPS, PDF, separations): 2 free a month with an account, unlimited with Pro, or 1 credit per export beyond that. Processing on our servers, for images too large for your device, is paid: Pro subscription or credit pack, after two free trial jobs a month with an account. Unlimited production exports for 7 days, no card, when you create your account.

Do I need an account?

Not to vectorize and download SVG or PNG. An account (sign-in with Google) is used to save your vectorizations, for production exports (DXF, EPS, PDF, separations), server processing, API keys and payment. You can delete it at any time, with all its data.

Is there an API?

Yes: an HTTP API authenticated by key, and an MCP server for AI agents. Keys are created in “My account”; each job uses the Pro quota or a credit. API documentation.
